Prelude for solo violin - concert recording
28 Nov 2018, 11:36Peter Sheppard Skaerved gave a superb performance of 'Prelude after Grinling Gibbons' on Friday November 26th 2018. The concert was in St Stephen Walbrook, London, a marvellous Wren church.

Prelude for solo violin, 23rd November /new choral pieces 21st November
6 Nov 2018, 10:47Peter Sheppard Skaerved will play my 'Prelude after Grinling Gibbons' for solo violin, at St Stephen Walbrook, London EC4N 4, at 6pm on Friday November 23rd. He gave a brilliant performance of it at Fairfax House in York, on October 30th.
At RNCM, Manchester, 7.45pm on Wednesday November 21st, 'These Days - the Manchester Peace Song Cycle' includes several short pieces I have written for the Hallé training choir and a local primary school. This is part of a project of Caroline Clegg's, site-specific to Heaton Park, where it will first be staged on Sunday November 18th.

Premiere - Prelude for solo violin
22 Oct 2018, 14:14'Prelude after Grinling Gibbons', for solo violin, will be premiered by its dedicatee, Peter Sheppard Skaerved, at Fairfax House in York on October 30th, 2018. The Prelude is based on the carving 'King David performing a motet of Orlando di Lassus', which is in Fairfax House. Grinling Gibbons carved it as a young man in York, before he had become King Charles' 'Master Carver'.
